Muppet Monday: It’s Beginning to Look A lot Like…

Christmas in July with Disney on Wheels: celebrating this joyous season in the middle of summer.

Yep, you read that right. Did you remember to turn your calendar to July today? I hope so!

With less than 6 months until the holiday season, I am so psyched to join forces with Melissa at Disney on Wheels for a month full of cool down posts in the middle of a steamy summer.

We are starting off today with our favorite people: the Muppets!

If you didn’t know I love Christmas just as much as Sam Eagle loves the Fourth of July. So to me, Christmas is always just around the corner.

Here’s a little song from the 1975 “John Denver and the Muppets: A Christmas Together” special that says just that:

“Christmas is Coming” is actually a British nursery rhyme. If you look hard enough, I’m sure you’ll see a few other familiar faces in this dressing room sing-a-long.ย Highlights for me include a head banging Miss Piggy, Lew Zealand the makeup artist, and Beaker playing the maracas.

If you are looking for something to add to an early holiday wish list, be sure to have John Denver and the Muppets album right at the tippy top. It’s one of my favorite to listen to when the season gets a little bit closer.

Be sure to check out Disney on Wheels today for some other Muppety goodness. Our Christmas in July series will resume on Thursdays for the rest of the month! Can’t wait for you to see all we have planned!

  1. I remember this special! John and the Muppets were a terrific team. Sigh. I can’t wait to see what next Thursday brings. (And I love your new look Estelle!!)
