Dressing for the Park: Epcot’s Future World

Sometimes when I need to get into the writing mood, I do a fun “sprint” which could be anything from “online browsing” my favorite shops or putting together a playlist. If I put my mind to something else, my jump into writing is always smoother. That’s how this post was born. I hadn’t even realized that exactly one year agoΒ I put together “Skirts from Every Land” — a post that also began on a fun whim. How coincidental is that?

Today we are ditching the skirts for dresses, and taking the monorail over to Epcot for some true “theme” park fashion.

We’re off to Future World!

Dressing for the Parks Epcot's Future World

Future World East

Spaceship Earth: it’s all in the geometric shape. (Points for Professionalism Dress, $80)

Universe of Energy: Dinosaurs. Need I say more? (Dino My Gosh Dress, $50)

Mission Space: You don’t need the barf bag for this one. (Heart + Solar System Dress, $75)

Test Track: Those swirls look just like car paths to me. Plus, that teal? Eee. (Westward Journey Dress in Trails, $119)

Innoventions: Dare I say it… but this dress is better than these attractions? So bright + geeky fun. (As Days Go Binary, $75)

Future World West

The Seas with Nemo + Friends: Not what you thought right? Love these colors + they reminded me of seaweed. (Front Row Seat Dress, $53)

Living with the Land: Classic + lush. I love these colors. (Magnificent Meadow Dress, $90)

Imagination: This dress reminds me of Figment: purple + some sparkle. (Firework Wonders Dress, $115)

What do you think? Did I nail these? I want to buy absolutely every single one. Don’t tell my wallet.

Be sure to tell me your favorite below!

Stay tuned next week for a fashion forward trip through WORLD SHOWCASE!
