New Music Tuesday: Hilary Duff

I love Tuesdays for many reasons.

  • Background loops all day on Magical Mouse Radio.
  • New book releases hit the bookstores + that means a nice lunchtime bookstore visit to meet the new books.
  • In relation to both reasons above, NEW MUSIC IN STORES.

Today, July 29, means we are all lucky enough to be living in a universe where Hilary Duff is releasing a new single.

Did you hear me?

Last August, I laid all my nerdy cards on the table when I expressed my over-the-top love for this lady, her tunes, and basically, everything about her in a lovely blog post (if I do say so myself). I didn’t mention it in the article but I’m pretty sure there was a whisper about her working on new music at that time but now it’s really happening!

Hilary Duff Chasing the Sun

I never have enough fun, summer songs on my playlist so I am so amped plus Hilary will be premiering a video for “Chasing the Sun” too. Can this day get any better? Nope. Definitely not. (Maybe a release date for her upcoming album. Okay. That would make me very happy.)

Until I get a chance to check it out today, I’m going to enjoy a little oldie but goodie Duff. So Yesterday (which, um, she no longer is and actually never was):

  1. I love Hilary, too! So much love. I’m looking forward to hearing the rest of her album, especially the collaboration with Ed Sherran!

Funny story: I was scrolling down the page when I saw your photo. I was like, am I on Rather Be Reading? Doubled checked. Nope! A pleasant surprise 😉
