According to reviewers, (who nearly all give it fives stars) this is the “best caravan park ever!” It is located beside the beautiful Malanda Falls, which is a good swimming hole on hot days. It is surrounded by rainforest, walking tracks, and wildlife such as the rare tree kangaroo. There is an animal petting area where children can bottle feed the calves.

This place also scores five stars on Trip Advisor. It is quiet and peaceful with incredible starry night skies. The sites are large and shady, the facilities excellent, and the caretakers kind and helpful. It is a 1 km walk to beautiful Lake Eachem. Birdlife is prolific. Ducks and chickens come to say hello.
